Todd Chandler has 50 years of accumulated boating experience in a variety of crafts ranging from inflatable boats to a 60' teak schooner.  Todd started racing stock outboard, speedboats at 9 years of age and helped his father build his first racing boat at  age 12. When he was 18 he bought his first sailboat and started 21 years of living aboard (3 different boats). While living aboard Todd operated inflatable boats and went to sea on the Pacific Ocean aboard oceanographic ships for 15 years while studying marine mammals. Todd finally realized that if he couldn't be using boats he would just as soon be working on them; he joined the professional marine industry in 2006 after sailing with his soon to be wife from central California to North Carolina. While working with Triton Marine Services, Inc. in Beaufort, N.C., Todd became a certified ABYC marine electrician and a Fischer Panda generator technician. In 2006, Todd also obtained his USCG 100 ton Captain license with towing and sailing endorsement. After 6 years overseas installing geological monitoring equipment in New Zealand, Todd and his family moved to Newport, OR. Upon returning Todd worked at the Port of Toledo boatyard for nearly a year before branching out to offer his experience to you personally!

Enjoy the photos on this site, they are mostly of our travels aboard and nearly all taken by my wife, Leigh Torres.
